In partnership with the York Region Arts Council and Central Counties Tourism, the municipalities of York Region have come together to showcase to FEO – WE THE YORK – a regionally-themed night of entertainment, friendship and fun like none other! Sit back and enjoy local favourites that will temp the pallet, listen to some incredible entertainment, and be mesmerized by what makes us most unique as it comes to life right before your eyes. Be sure to immerse yourself in activities, mix and mingle with some new and old friends, and make this a night you surely won't forget. This is a business casual event, but it doesn't mean you can't experience York Region like we do and have some fun!

Jason Palter is funny… seriously.
He is an internationally-renowned performer, and a previous winner of the prestigious national “Entertainer of The Year” Award, presented by the Canadian Events Industry. Jason appeared on the season 5 finale of
“Penn & Teller: Fool Us”, and for over 25 years he has entertained and received rave reviews for his performances, keynote speeches, and emcee hosting at corporate parties, conferences, and private events.

Cory Feigen is a singer-songwriter from Thornhill, Ontario. His acoustic bluesy riff, close-to-heart lyrics, and pop-like melodies are primed to attract the likes of music lovers from a wide range of genres. With musical influences including Jack Johnson, James Taylor, Michael Buble, and John Mayer, Cory is able to draw influence from artists with diverse musical backgrounds, and use it to his advantage to create a unique brand of music.
Cory has been seen performing at events throughout the GTA including Toronto Sweetery, Spring/Wintersong Music Festival, Winterfolk Festival, Unionville Festival, Markham Village Music Festival, and many others.
Connection to York Region
Cory has been actively involved in music in York Region since he was 12 years old. He first started with assisting and performing in both York Region Live events (2007,2009); a set of benefit concerts with the purpose of raising money for the Stephen Lewis Foundation. Cory was also one of the Artists to take part in the Guinness World Records - Longest Concert Ever; which took place in Stouffville; and continues to play festivals and other events in that area. Cory also works with former teachers and their students on various projects that involve music. The most recent being with his former teacher, Michael Frankfort, where he assisted his students with turning recycled items into musical instruments. He would also speak to the students about what it's like trying to play music for a living and even performed some songs for them in the classroom. Cory continues to contribute to York Region through music and looks forward to growing its music community.
Louisa Barbosa is a young singer-songwriter from Aurora, Ontario.
She took her first steps towards a career when she became a CNE Junior Rising Star finalist and was later crowned the 2015 Aurora Teen Idol.
Since then, Louisa has encountered many new opportunities, such as annually performing at numerous events all over the GTA with her band, Louisa And The Planets. She has also written and co-written many songs, most of which will be showcased on her band’s upcoming EP, produced by Juno winner and former guitarist for Our Lady Peace, Mike Turner.
Her music has indie, folk, and soul influences as well as honest lyrics.

Robbi is a York Region-born singer/songwriter who has crafted her music to highlight her deep and poetic nature, pulling influence from pop cultures and sub cultures in order to reinvent the way that music sounds and feels. The 25 year old brings cinematic qualities to the table providing her listeners with the perfect soundtracks for good vibes and introspection.
