Meet The Minister - Welcome to the 2020 FEO Conference
Festivals and Events Ontario (FEO) is thrilled to announce that the Hon. Lisa MacLeod will be at the FEO Conference Welcome Reception on Tuesday, February 25, 2020. Her portfolio is Minister of the newly formed Heritage, Sport, Tourism and Culture Industries.
The Minister will bring greetings from the Province and open our 2020 Conference in Richmond Hill with an address where information will be provided about her newly formed Ministry and how it can benefit Festivals and Events in Ontario.
There will also be live entertainment, light snacks and a cash bar available as delegates get a chance to network with each other on the first night of the Conference and chat with Minister MacLeod.

Known for her ability to blend humour with messages about being resilient in the face of adversity and uncertainty, comedian/speaker, Susan Stewart, leaves her audiences both uplifted and equipped to see the lighter side of life. Susan is the author of three books including her latest title, You Gotta Laugh: Wit And Wisdom About Not Taking Life (Or Yourself) Too Seriously. Beatsync is an eight-piece powerhouse vocal band from Toronto, Ontario combining eclectic repertoire with dynamic beats and sophisticated arrangements. From pop to electronic to classic soul, Beatsync draws upon diverse influences to craft their unique contemporary sound, interpreting modern hits and deep cuts alike through an exciting and creative lens.
Having first crossed paths in various fixtures of Toronto’s fast-growing a cappella scene, these eight dynamic vocalists came together as Beatsync with one goal in mind: to get the party started, no instruments necessary. Beatsync aims to be as eclectic and versatile as its members, with repertoire spanning from Björk to Frankie Valli to Ariana Grande.

Canadian-born, Toronto-native Rob Tardik is a multi-award-winning guitarist and contemporary pop/jazz/world/fusion instrumental music artist. He has performed at venues all across North America. His last 6 CD's have spawned 5 U.S Billboard charting singles, two of which went to the Top 10. His upcoming 7th multi-album release DIVERSITY will be a 4-volume compilation in various musical styles featuring new material and re-mastered songs from all is past six recordings, due out during each season in Winter 2019 and Spring, Summer, Fall 2020. His recent awards include being a finalist and honorary mention in the 2019 International Songwriting Competition, winning the 2018 Established Solo Music Instrumental Mississauga Arts Award and also placing 1st overall in the prestigious 2017 IAMA (International Acoustic Music Awards), 2010 Canadian Smooth Jazz Guitarist of the Year; the #1 spot on the U.S.-based, Music Choice Contemporary Jazz charts for 4 weeks and being named Mississauga's • Established Performer of the Year" in 2007, and nominated again in 2016 and 2017 for his musical contributions.
