The Succession Plan Mentorship Program at the "INNOVATE" Festivals and Events Conference.

Festival and Events Ontario is happy to announce that we will have a new mentorship program at our event this year: The Succession Plan (TSP), which will be delivered during the Festival and Events conference in Richmond Hill, ON from February 25 to 27, 2020.

The Succession Plan (TSP) is a mentorship and peer network development program delivered by The Canadian Arts Presenting Organization (CAPACOA), for emerging and mid-career presenters and other performing arts professionals.  The program seeks to strengthen core competencies, provide leadership development and equip participants with the tools and resources necessary to be active participants in the development of arts and culture in their community.

The TSP includes one-on-one mentorship sessions as well as peer networking and group discussions to address current industry trends, challenges and opportunities.

We will have seven (7) mentee/mentors match that will participants to The Succession Plan program at the 2020 Festival and Events Conference. Mentee applicants should meet the following criteria:

  • Be currently employed/working in the festivals and events industry;

  • Have a minimum of 3 years’ professional industry experience;

  • Ability to attend and fully participate in FEO 2020 from February 25 – 27 in Richmond Hill, ON.

There is no additional cost to take part in the TSP, however participants must be fully registered for FEO.
